Client Spotlight: Jennifer Albano

1.) What are your current goals and why?

To gain weight, eat more, and to get STRONGER! I want to be stronger for my goals with pole fitness, but also just for me and my self-confidence. It feels good to be able to use my body without pain, and to be finally eating enough to keep up with how active I am. For me, being physically active and healthy keeps my mental health strong too, and I just want to be the best version of myself.

2.) What keeps you motivated?

Seeing the progress I have made and feeling the way my body has gotten stronger definitely motivates me to keep going. Wanting to be able to truly enjoy the beauty of nature and never have to miss out on something awesome, and being able to live a life full of adventure. I am always challenging myself to be a better person than I was the day before.

3.) Why is it important to you to live a healthy lifestyle?

Oh man, so many reasons!!! A big one would be for my dog and being able to also keep her active, so she can live many more years with me. Hiking and going out on adventures is something that brings me so much joy, and I never want to have to stop doing that. I want to feel strong and confident in my own body, and staying healthy helps me do that.

4.)What is your most memorable experience in this program?

One big thing that stands out is when I had my pole showcase in March, and I felt just as strong the second night as I did the first!!! It was the third year doing the show, and the first time I felt like I had the same energy going into both shows, and I know it was because I was on it with my nutrition. I fueled up enough before, during, and after to keep myself going and didn’t have a “crash” in energy at the end of the weekend.

5.)What are you most proud of since starting this program?

12 CONSECUTIVE PULL UPS BABYYY!!!! Still screaming about this and in awe of myself for having the strength to do something like that.

Staying consistent with meal prep, tracking, and hitting macros. This is the first time ever that I didn’t just give up after a couple of weeks. Easing into all of it really was a game changer for me, and having the accountability has helped so much, too.

My strength increases with pole and being able to easily get moves that I struggled with previously
