What are your current goals and why?

To get STRONG! I have always been in a weight loss phase and had a goal of “being skinny”. I always had a goal weight in my head (and it was always so unreasonable). My goals arent so much weight focused now as they are strength focused and how I am feeling. While I can still use the scale as a measurement of progress, its not my main or most important one anymore!

What keeps you motivated?

100% my kids.

Why is it important to you to live a healthy lifestyle?

I want to be the healthiest version of myself so I can be the best mom to my kiddos. I have two boys; Carter (3) and Myles (6 months). I never want there to be a time in my life where I cant play with them because of my health. I don’t ever want that to interfere with our relationship. I also want to show and teach my boys that women can be strong too 😊

Another big thing is so I can be the best wife/partner and friend. I’ve learned when I’m not happy with myself or in my own skin I’m honestly not nice haha I workout to help with all those feelings.

What is your most memorable experience in this program?

I’ve only been a member since October, but so far it was my first real set of “progress pics”. I had only dropped about 5 lbs on the scale but I took the pics because Coach Gabbi wanted them and I was BLOWN away. The difference was insane and not what I would expect a 5 lb change to look like. Again, like I said above that just goes to show you can’t rely solely on the scale.

BRIGHT SPOTS. Hype up your accomplishments, what are you most proud of so far since starting the program?

Oh man! Like I mentioned, I’ve only been a part of All-tru for 3 months or so but we had a test week last week on bench, deadlifts, and squats and I honestly lifted more than I ever have before! I am getting my endurance back post baby and really really bettering my relationship with food. I had a rough relationship with food for a long time. I binged like crazy when I was pegged with injuries playing college soccer. It has been so hard getting back to where I am and where I’m headed but I’m so excited to see what the future holds and am so so thankful for Emma, Gabbi, Alexa, and Gary!
