1.) What are your current goals and why?
My current goal is to body recomp while staying strong AF! I put on a decent amount of muscle working with Coach Alexa during my strongman prep, and I am now maintaining that muscle mass as I switch up my training into powerbuilding again so I can be jacked and tan this summer.
2.) What keeps you motivated?
The way I feel in my body on a day-to-day basis. When I’m not staying active, I feel lethargic and unmotivated. When I prioritize my physical health,h all the other areas of my life improve. Fitness is a form of self-care for me.
3.) Why is it important to you to live a healthy lifestyle?
Living a healthy lifestyle is important for me because I want to do EVERYTHING! I want to be able to say yes to anything. Skiing? I’m there. Kayaking? Absolutely. Go swimming with sharks? I’m down. I love to live without limits.
4.)What is your most memorable experience in this program?
Getting second place in my first ever strongman competition! I lifted a 175 lb Atlas stone and deadlifted 250 for 14 reps at 133 bodyweight. I’m grateful for Coach Alexa keeping me on it with my nutrition so I could show up ready to give my all on comp day.
5.)What are you most proud of since starting this program?
I am most proud of myself for staying consistent. Before I joined AllTru, consistency was the hardest piece for me. I would try something new for a few days, then fall of,f and I felt like I was letting myself down constantly. I am proud of myself for tracking macros daily, never missing a check-in, and challenging myself both in and out of the gym. I didn’t give up on building my morning routine even though it took months to nail it down. I’m proud of myself for problem-solving where I could and reaching out to my coach when I needed support. I feel stronger both physically and mentally, thanks to Coach Alexa & AllTru.
