1.) What are your current goals and why?
To stay consistent with workouts and nutrition. To give myself grace for variations in my routine and remember that's part of what makes me successful, not what keeps me from success!!
2.) What keeps you motivated?
My daughter. I want to show her what it looks like to love myself at any size and to recognize what I am capable of as a woman!!
3.) Why is it important to you to live a healthy lifestyle?
It makes me a better and stronger person, and helps me to show up better in all areas of life!
4.)What is your most memorable experience in this program?
Coach Tori helped me to dig deep into my why. Realizing that my self-worth has been too tied up in being a certain size rather than focusing on what I am capable of, and how far I’ve come!
5.)What are you most proud of since starting this program?
I’m so proud of myself for focusing first on nourishing myself and my baby before trying to start weight loss. That was hard for me not to want to just hit weight loss hard, but I was able to really dig deep into why the number on the scale is too important to me. I had to get back to non-scale victories and focus on what was really important. Getting to the point where I could dress up to go out and actually like what I saw in the mirror instead of hating it! I started looking at myself in the mirror and saying things like, “Wow, I’m so proud of what my body is capable of and all that I have done for myself and my baby girl!
