1.) What are your current goals and why?

My current goals are to become a healthier version of myself.  I would like to really work on gut health, sleep, and consistency in the gym.  I didn’t realize how much all of these things go hand in hand with fitness and working with All-Tru has really opened my eyes and helped me to live a significantly healthier lifestyle already!  Looking forward to the future and hitting my goals.

2.) What keeps you motivated?

I have a lot of things to stay motivated for – my fiancee (an upcoming wedding!) and our future family, staying healthy to be around for my nephews and to teach them how to stay healthy, my entire family, but most importantly, I want to stay motivated for myself!  Coach Alexa also helps me stay motivated – she is super realistic and understands that life happens – some weeks are going to be more challenging than others, but we just keep moving forward because one bad day doesn’t have to spill over to more days, weeks, or months.

3.) Why is it important to you to live a healthy lifestyle?

I need to live a healthy lifestyle just so I can stay active for my family – to take care of my dad as he ages and to keep up with my nephews.  I also would love to have a family at some point shortly and I would like to be the healthiest version of myself for my future children.

4.)What is your most memorable experience in this program?

My most memorable experience in this program was the first time I picked up a barbell again to do a deadlift.  I had a pretty significant back injury almost 4 years ago and I was told by doctors that I would likely never lift a barbell again.  I was nervous to attempt a barbell deadlift, but I’ll never forget how proud of myself I was when I was able to deadlift 185# again without any pain.  Thinking about that moment still puts a huge smile on my face!

5.)What are you most proud of since starting this program?

Oh gosh – I feel like I have so many things to be proud of since starting this program.  I’ve learned so much about gut health.  I’ve tried so many different foods and added so many new recipes to my repertoire.  I have gotten so much better at keeping to a sleep schedule.

I’ve dropped over 20 pounds, just from making simple lifestyle changes.  I have been able to fit into clothes that I wasn’t able to wear for years, or ever.

I feel so strong, so confident in myself now and I know that I can do anything I put my mind to.  Lifting heavy weights and PR’ing has been amazing and I’m super proud of those numbers but the thing that I am the absolute most proud of ever is the shift in my mindset and the confidence I’ve gained by being part of this amazing group of women!
